BUILDING THE STATE (Gainesville, F.L.) is pleased to announce that their latest EP, Faces In The Architecture, will be released in 10-inch vinyl format by New Granada Records on October 7th. It will also feature artwork from Nikita Shoshensky.
New Granada, whose catalog includes records from the likes of Braid, Pohgoh and The Dark Romantics, is now taking pre-orders for the album. Go here to get yours.
Building The State will have also copies of the 10-inch on their upcoming two-week tour of the East Coast, which begins on Friday. The band will be playing at The Fest as well.

Originally released as a CDEP by Amnot Records in May of 2007, Faces In The Architecture’s post-rock reverb, dynamic time signatures and swelling atmospherics owes much to bands like Explosions In The Sky, but the warm textures, experimentation and earnest vocals tend to evoke indie rock heroes such as Built To Spill and The Appleseed Cast.
