The pride and joy of Kent (Ohio), Annabel, have signed with up-and-coming indie Count Your Lucky Stars for the release of their debut full-length, Each And Everyone. The record is available from the label beginning today.
To celebrate the release, the band has shot a beautiful video for “People And Places.” You can also listen to “Sleeping Lions” (Free MP3) as well.
Playing an infectious brand of indie pop laced with feverish melodies, Annabel balances it all with soaring post-punk dynamics that convey a heightened sense of urgency. The trio takes the best from several different genres, forging their own unique path with Each And Everyone instead.
Annabel’s previous release, Now That We’re Alive, landed the trio on AP.net’s Absolute 100 list as well as a spot on the editor’s desk at Jersey Beat. It should come as no surprise that everything that was promised on Alive is delivered in full force on Each And Everyone.
