Michigan’s Count Your Lucky Stars continues to flourish and expand their already impressive roster. Next on the signing block is Houston, TX indie / emo band, Football, etc..
Rainer Maria comparisons be damned, Football, etc. stand tall on their own merit. Rising from the ashes of the short-lived Tin Kitchen, the band’s no-nonsense approach to music is as refreshing as it is honest. The three piece continues to put the finishing touches on their first demo, cleverly titled, First Down. The EP will be released by the band in July.
Shortly after, Football, etc will share some vinyl in the form of a split seven-inch with CYLS flagship artist, Empire! Empire! (I Was A Lonely Estate) . Then it is on to writing and recording for their debut full-length that will of course come courtesy of Count Your Lucky Stars.
