Brooklyn, New York’s The Reveling finds itself gearing up for a virtual takeover of the Sirius XM Radio air waves this week. The band will tackle guest DJs duties, partake in interviews and even crank out a few live and recorded songs on shows such as E Street Radio, Liquid Metal, Faction’s DIY Sunday and “Kick Out The Jams” with Dave Marsh.

A complete breakdown of show times and other specifics can be found below.

Featuring drummer Jay Weinberg – son of Max Weinberg, long time drummer for Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band, as well as bandleader for The Tonight Show With Conan O’Brien – the punk rock quartet’s latest four-song offering, 3D Radio, will see an official street date of December 1st. However, The Reveling will be playing an early release show this Friday (11/06) at the Knitting Factory in NYC with A Wilhelm Scream, Living With Lions and The Riot Before. As an added bonus, anyone who arrives at the show before the band’s 8pm set will receive a free copy of the record.

Additionally, you can pick up 3D Radio from Interpunk and CD Baby or digitally via iTunes and other online retail services.

At its core, 3D Radio is a driving, brash take on mid-90’s melodic hardcore and punk, melded with the urgency of today’s post-hardcore sound. But the songs also touch on elements of roots, soul and good old blue-collar rock ‘n’ roll. There’s an unmistakable swing and bounce to it, embracing Americana-tinged spirit of forefathers like Social Distortion while incorporating rock ‘n’ roll elements from punk contemporaries like The Gaslight Anthem or The Loved Ones.

Listen to the song “Breadline” streaming on the band’s revamped website and myspace page.
