Second Annual TREASURE FEST Announced: Charlotte, NC / May 18-19, 2012
• Two-day independent music festival featuring the best in underground Punk, Hardcore, Emo, Indie, Americana, Metal + more

The second annual Treasure Fest in Charlotte, North Carolina has officially been announced for the weekend of May 18-19, 2012. While additional details are still forthcoming, the two-day extravaganza will build upon last year’s overwhelming success by showcasing over 50 incredible independent bands from all over the East Coast and beyond.
More artists will be announced over the course of the next few weeks, but early confirmations include Algernon Cadwallader, Restorations, Double Negative, Sundials, Worn In Red, Leather, Black Wine, Museum Mouth, Glocca Mora, The Emotron, Red Collar and Charlotte’s own Young and in the Way. Featuring a ton of amazing up-and-coming and established independent artists from unique DIY backgrounds playing metal, Americana and just about everything in between, 2011’s festival was a rousing triumph for the city of Charlotte, its underground music community and of course all the participating venues and bands. The second annual Treasure Fest will continue to embrace that enduring punk rock ethic and do-it-together attitude while staying true to its ultimate goal – fun times and a true appreciation of the wealth of talent on display.
