Latin For Truth consists of two twenty somethings taking the high road and three teens taking the low. The teens destroy, the elders think. The teens skate, the elders work. Together the five young men converge to find common ground through punk rock with a conscious. After mixed reviews of the the band’s debut full-length and a tour cut short by a serious wreck, Latin For Truth has forged a new path.

With help from their friends at Pitfall Records, Latin For Truth’s tracked a three song digital EP entitled We Are Sick of Not Having The Courage To Be Absolute Nobodies. The free EP was meant to be a stop-gap while the band saved money, wrote and recorded. In reality We Are Sick of Not Having The Courage To Be Absolute Nobodies is in essence a rebirth for Latin For Truth. The band has shed the cliches of a genre in hopes of creating something more meaningful.

Inspired by recent touring and a need for growth Latin For Truth have decided to leave the mosh and the breakdowns at the door. Echoing influences of tomorrow while maintaining a modern feel, Latin For Truth barrel through three songs that stress making a difference and staying positive. “You can flaunt the flag while we save the ship” might sound like a bold call to arms at first but Latin For Truth back it up on We Are Sick of Not Having The Courage To Be Absolute Nobodies.

We Are Sick of Not Having The Courage To Be Absolute Nobodies was recorded at 456 Recording and mixed/mastered by Brian Hood. Latin For Truth are gearing up for The ‘95 Sound, a seven-inch release of demos to be released on Pitfall Records in the Fall. The band continues to write for their upcoming full-length as well. The album, already titled Youth Crew Blues, is tentatively scheduled for Spring 2010.
